Computers in the Food Business – Adjunct Faculty

The Culinary Institute of America, the world's premier culinary college, is seeking adjunct faculty to teach an introductory course to undergraduates preparing to be chefs and managers in the ever changing food and hospitality industry. A focus is placed on software applications for restaurant operations, point-of-sales systems, human resources, accounting, and guest services. The course reviews the selection and implementation of computer systems and examines effective use of technology in the restaurant industry. The class meets three hours per week beginning in January.

Minimum requirements include prior teaching experience and a master's degree in an appropriate field.
