Baking & Pastry Arts – Full time Faculty
The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, located in the Napa Valley is seeking applicants for a full time faculty position to teach a variety of baking and pastry courses to aspiring cooks, chefs, and future managers. Applicants should possess a strong mastery of baking and pastry fundamentals, a passion for food, and a strong enthusiasm to share their knowledge and experience.
Minimum requirements include:
- Seven years of progressively responsible baking & pastry experience culminating with managerial experience.
- AOS or BA degree in hospitality or related field.
- Two years prior teaching experience.
- Knowledge of baking fundamentals, pastry fundamentals, sugar work, chocolate work, cakes, pastries and plated desserts.
Candidates with an advanced professional certification such as CEPC, CMB or CMPC. are preferred. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience.
