Cappuccino Smoothie

Directions

Place espresso, ice cream, ice and milk in the Professional Series container and secure 2 part lid.

Select Variable speed 1.

Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Run for 20 seconds. 

Serve at once in chilled tall glasses garnished with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

You can make your own whipped cream in 5 seconds! Add 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the Professional Series container and secure 2 part lid. Select Variable 1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High. Run 3-5 seconds.

You may also grind your own espresso. Place 2 cups of espresso or coffee beans in the Professional Series container and secure 2 part lid. Select Variable 1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High. Run 10-15 seconds. If using coffee beans, use triple the amount of ground coffee beans in place of ground espresso beans.

The dryer and harder the ice, the thicker and slushier the end result. If using a softer or wetter ice, add an additional ¼ - ½ cup.


Espresso ready to be made into a delicious smoothie.

Ingredients

1 cup espresso, cold
½ cup coffee ice cream
¼ cup ice
1/3 cup milk
¼ cup heavy cream, whipped
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
