Internationally celebrated food historian, Ms. Rose is the author of The Sensible Cook: Dutch Foodways in the Old and New World and co-author of Matters of Taste. She is an international consultant on historical art exhibits and lectures worldwide.

Award-winning editor and essayist, Mr. Lopate's works include The Art of the Personal Essay and Writing New York. His essays, fiction, poetry, film and architectural criticism have appeared on numerous periodicals and anthologies. He currently teaches at Columbia University, the New School, and Bennington College.

CIA alum, and recipient of the I.A.C.P and The James Beard Foundation awards Mr. Jones is the Foods Editor of Southern Living (and is the first man in the 40-year history of the magazine to work in the Foods department). He is the author of the Southern Living Wine Guide and Journal and holds a degree in Magazine Publishing and Journalism from the University of Mississippi.

Mishael Caspi

Professor Caspi is an internationally renowned biblical scholar and folklorist at Bates College. Weavers of the Songs: The Oral Poetry of Arab Women in Israel and the West Bank and Daughters of Yemen are among his many celebrated publications. His deep connection to both Islamic and Jewish cultures serves as the basis for his philosophy of mutual respect in the political arena.

Distinguished Professor of History and Women's Studies at the John Jay College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, Ms. Wiesen Cook is the author of the award-winning Eleanor Roosevelt, Volumes I and II and The Defining Years. She also produced and hosted her own program for Pacifica Radio and has appeared frequently as a television news commentator.

Professor Emeritus and former chair of the Nutrition Education Department at Columbia University, Ms. Gussow's work has had a considerable influence in academia, in government and in the foundation world. She is the author of numerous articles and books, including The Feeding Web: Issues in Nutrition Ecology and This Organic Life: Confessions of a Suburban Homesteader.
