Marion Nestle is Paulette Goddard Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University. Her research examines scientific, economic, and social influences on food choice. She is the author of several books including Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health.

"Is Iraq a Threat to the United States?"
Scott Ritter has had an extensive and distinguished career in government service. He is an intelligence specialist who served 12 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, including assignments in the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. In 1991, Ritter joined the United Nations weapons inspections team, or UNSCOM. He participated in 34 inspection missions, 14 of them as chief inspector. Ritter resigned from UNSCOM in August 1998, citing U.S. interference in the inspections.

Ms. Goldstein is the author of a number of books, including A Taste of Russia: A Cookbook of Russian Hospitality (1983) and The Vegetarian Hearth: Recipes and Reflections for the Cold Season (1996). She is Professor of Russian at Williams College.

Some of her honors include: the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency, 1990; Folklore Fellow, Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, 1990; American Council of Learned Societies Fellowship in East European Studies, 1989–1990; Guggenheim Fellowship, 1986–1987.
