During the weekends, the CIA's DeBaun Theatre comes to life with live cooking demos performed by the school's renowned chef-instructors. The one-hour events feature recipes that reflect the seasonal flavors of the Napa Valley wine country and are paired with a glass of wine. Tickets and Reservations
Tickets are $20.00 per person (tax included) and are available for purchase on the day of the cooking demonstration at The Spice Island Marketplace. Reservations are also available online or by telephone at 707-967-2320. For groups of 10 or more, please call 707-967-2320 to make your reservation.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled demonstration reservation time. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation, in consideration of other guests, we ask you attend the next available cooking demonstration.

Cooking Demos & Wine at the CIA at Greystone Public cooking demonstrations will take place at 1:30 p.m. on the weekends and will be paired with a taste of Greystone Cellars wine (served to guests at least 21 years or older). A non-alcoholic option will be provided as well. Ticket price: $20.00 per person (Two children under the age of 12 years old are admitted at no charge when accompanied by a paying adult.) |
To complete your CIA at Greystone Experience, we now offer daily 30 minute tours of the historic Greystone building including the Corkscrew Museum, the Breitstein Collection, Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies, the Greystone Herb Garden and a view of the CIA Teaching Kitchen (Please note that we do not offer access into the Teaching Kitchen.)

These two-hour events let you explore the best flavors and products of the harvest, featuring dishes that highlight locally sourced ingredients and reflect the seasonal flavors of the San Antonio Farmers' Market. The recipes presented come from the CIA's "At Home" series of cookbooks and change with the seasons, so you'll want to attend our "First Taste" demos again and again!
